At Drive, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to live the life that matters to them. We’re looking for a Finance Officer to join our Finance Team supporting the delivery of accurate, timely and effective financial processes across the organisation.

The role supports the Accounting Manager in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, carrying out reconciliations and helping ensure the smooth running of Drive’s finance function.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with finance administration, bookkeeping or accounts experience who is organised, detail-focused and enjoys working collaboratively with others.

What you’ll be doing

  • Processing financial transactions accurately and on time
  • Maintaining accounting records and finance systems
  • Supporting purchase and sales ledger functions
  • Managing debtor and credit control processes
  • Processing invoices, payments and expenses
  • Carrying out reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
  • Producing and maintaining spreadsheets and financial information
  • Supporting compliance with financial procedures and internal controls
  • Working closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure financial information is accurate and up to date

What we’re looking for

You will ideally have:

  • Experience working within a finance, accounts or bookkeeping environment
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to manage your workload and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Experience of finance systems such as Sage (desirable)
  • Knowledge of reconciliations, ledgers, invoicing or credit control (desirable)
  • A positive, proactive and flexible approach to work
