As part of our supported living services we help people realise their potential and build the foundations for independent living. We deliver support in a person centred manner, encouraging people to engage in their local communities, develop skills and enhance personal networks.
Drive provides sessional support to people living in with families, or in their own homes and flats. This can be a few hours a day or week, to help with whatever you need, for example personal care, medication, budgeting, planning meals, attending activities or going to the bank. We will regularly agree and review what time you have support during the day.
Drive’s E.C.O project has been running for over 25 years and is set in a rural environment. The projects timber building has been designed to meet a low carbon footprint and is fully accessible. We provide support for individuals to work in a safe environment, to gain confidence, qualifications and learn new skills to access other local community groups or find work opportunities. Our staff team are experienced in a range of disciplines providing opportunities for adults with disabilities to gain skills in a range of horticultural activities.
Drive can support individuals living with families with Short Breaks away from home, or provide support in the family home while carers have a holiday of short break. Staff also go on holiday with individuals or small groups of friends, at home or abroad.
Drive has co-produced a range of opportunities for individuals to meet new people, develop friends and relationships, learn new skills and experience new activities in their local communities.
