We’ve achieved gold from Investors in People

We are delighted to announce that we’ve been awarded the Gold Investors in People Award!

Why is it important?

Investors in People (IIP) is an international organisation that helps businesses to value their people first. Their goal is to make work better by encouraging businesses to develop and invest in their workforce.
There are over 50,000 accredited organisations over 66 countries and only 11% of these currently hold the gold award. To achieve the award, businesses must show that they consistently demonstrate excellence in people management.

How did we do?

We have been assessed against a framework that measures how we lead, support and develop our people. IIP gathered feedback from all our staff through a survey and then met with some of them individually to find out what it’s really like to work at Drive.

The results of the assessment were excellent! Our people told IIP that they appreciate and share our strong values and our commitment to putting our people first. They said we have a clear culture of support and offer excellent learning experiences.

IIP recognised how we work collaboratively with our people and involve them in our decisions. They pointed out how effective our communication is and applauded us for creating progression opportunities.

We were thrilled that everyone surveyed agreed our values are clear and shared successfully, and that they felt managers and senior managers were accessible and supportive.

Above all, it was great to hear that our people think Drive is a great place to work.

Nia Murphy, our Head of People and Learning said: ‘Being awarded gold is a great achievement. It’s clear from the results that our people recognise how much we care about them and their experience at work.’

Rhian Jones, our Chief Executive Officer said: ‘We are really proud of the effort and dedication our staff put in to making Drive a great place to work, with very strong Values. We have a brilliant team and are looking forward to continuing our fantastic work together.’
