About the role
We are recruiting Support Workers to join our dedicated teams across our services. This is a permanent role with contracted hours between 16 and 37.5 hours per week, worked flexibly to meet the needs of the people we support.
As a Support Worker, you will provide high‑quality, person‑centred support, enabling individuals to live independently, develop life skills, access their communities, and achieve outcomes that matter to them.
Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, public holidays, waking nights and sleep‑in duties, depending on service needs.

You will be required to:
- Work contracted hours between 16–37.5 hours per week
- Work a variety of shifts on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends, public holidays, waking nights and sleep‑in duties
- Support individuals to increase independence, confidence and daily living skills
- Promote inclusion and support individuals to access their local communities
- Maintain accurate records and follow care plans and risk assessments
- Work in line with Drive’s values, policies and procedures
- Hold a full UK driving licence, have access to a vehicle and obtain business car insurance
Essential requirements
- Willingness to work towards (or already hold) a Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care
- Willingness to register with and maintain registration with Social Care Wales
- Aged 18 or over
- Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship)
